There is a per-guest limit set on the album, which is generous by default.

What if one photo in a batch fails?

The rest continue. Retry the one that failed; it will not duplicate the ones that succeeded.

Should guests upload at the venue or later?

Can they add videos in the same batch?

Yes. Guests can select many photos and videos in a single upload. On a good connection a large batch is fine. On busy venue wifi, smaller batches of five or ten are far more reliable, because one weak moment does not take the whole set down with it.

The phone picker allows multiple selection.
Guests tap Upload Photos and pick from their camera roll. There is no app and no account to create.
