Grok help for event photo sharing with a QR code
Check the album, make a specific request and get back to the event. Our planned Grok connection brings your existing gallery’s settings and sharing links into a compatible assistant.
AI connections are coming soon. Our QR galleries are available today. The examples below show the planned connected experience; buying an album does not unlock AI access yet.

Ask about the album before you change it
When the event is close, a quick check can be more useful than another planning document. Confirm which album you are looking at, whether uploads are enabled and how the guest gallery is configured.
“Find my reception album and tell me whether uploads are enabled. Show the current welcome message and the uploaded photo and video counts. Do not change anything.”
This planned workflow checks event photo sharing settings without asking you to remember where every option lives. Photo counts are a status check, not a list of guests or an analysis of their pictures.
Keep each request small and easy to review
Specify the album and the change you want. Ask for a preview first, especially for settings that affect other guests. A save changes the live gallery, so review the proposed values before requesting it.
“For the reception album, preview this welcome message: “Thanks for celebrating with us! Add your photos and videos here.” Keep every other setting as it is.”
After saving, open the guest link on your phone. The words that looked right in a chat should also make sense to someone scanning a sign across the room.
Give every phone one place to share

A QR code on the table gives guests a route straight to the gallery.

Collect photos and videos together through the browser.

Use the website to manage and download the full collection.
Get the right link onto the right sign
Event photo sharing with a QR code only works if that code opens the intended album. The planned connection can return the guest link and links to printable signs and cards. Sign in to Our Event Album in your browser to download those materials.
- Check the album title before downloading the sign.
- Scan the printed QR code with a phone.
- Confirm the welcome message and upload options.
- Place signs where guests have a moment to use them, such as the tables or guestbook area.
Use the same account, wherever you manage it
The connection is designed around MCP, a standard supported by compatible AI clients. Access belongs to your signed-in Our Event Album account and covers albums you own or cohost. Revoke the connection from your account when you no longer want it.
The website remains available for album creation, media review and downloads. You can prepare your QR gallery today without waiting for an AI connection.
Frequently asked questions
Will this work in every Grok account?
The connection is coming soon. Availability will depend on the Grok client and its support for custom connections. This page does not promise that every account or interface can connect.
What does MCP mean here?
MCP is the connection standard that lets a compatible AI assistant use specific Our Event Album tools. It connects to your existing account; it does not move your gallery into Grok.
Can Grok see whether people have uploaded?
The planned connection can return the album’s uploaded photo and video counts and its current upload settings. It does not identify which guests have contributed or send reminders to them.
Can Grok extend an expired album or buy an upgrade?
No. The planned connection can report album status, but it cannot change purchase entitlements, extend access or buy anything. Manage account and purchase questions on the Our Event Album website.
