Which languages does the gallery support?

  1. 1

Open Settings, choose Event + Language, and set the primary language

Pick English, Español, Русский, or Português. This is the default guests see before they choose their own.

Event + Language sets the title, event type, date, and the language guests see before they pick their own.
  2. 2

Print your signs in that same language

The sign and card PDFs have their own language picker on the Manage page.

Each download button has its own paper size menu, so the PDF prints correctly at home.
  3. 3

Guests can switch language themselves in the gallery

The language button sits in the gallery header, so nobody is stuck with your default.

The gallery as a guest sees it on their phone, with Upload Photos in the header.

What translates, and what does not

The interface translates: buttons, tab labels, upload prompts, and the guest name screen. Your own words do not. The album title, the welcome message, photo captions, and well wishes all appear exactly as they were written.

That distinction matters most for the welcome message, which is the first thing a guest reads. If your guest list spans several languages, keep it short and concrete. "Add your photos from today" survives being read slowly by someone working through a second language far better than a long, warm paragraph does.

Common follow-up questions

Which languages are supported?
English, Español, Русский, and Português. Guests choose their own from the gallery header regardless of which one you set as the default.
Can I print signs in another language?
Yes. The printable sign and card PDFs have their own language picker, so your signs can match the language your guests read.
Does changing the language affect photos already uploaded?
No. It only changes the wording of the interface. Photos, videos, and well wishes are untouched.
Can different guests see different languages at the same time?
Yes. Each guest choice applies to their own device only, so guests can read the gallery in different languages simultaneously.
