How is this different from comments?

Do well wishes download with the photos?

Yes, they are included when you export the album.

You can remove anything you would rather not keep, the same as with photos.

Do guests need to upload a photo as well?

No. A guest can leave a message without uploading anything.

Can guests leave a written message?

Yes, when well wishes are switched on in Album settings. Guests tap Leave a Wish in the gallery and write a message, which appears alongside the photos and can be filtered to its own tab. It works as a digital guest book that people actually fill in, because it is on the phone already in their hand.

Switch on Well Wishes in Album settings
It sits under Social Features with comments and likes.
Comments, Likes, and Well Wishes are switched on and off here.

Guests tap Leave a Wish
The button sits in the gallery header beside Upload Photos.
Well wishes let guests leave a written message alongside the photos.

Messages appear in the Well Wishes tab
They download with the album too.
The filter tabs split the album into photos, videos, and written well wishes.
