I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Updated 28 July 2026

  1. 1

    Open the password reset page

You can also use Forgot password on the sign-in page.

    Reset your password
  2. 2

Enter the email address you use to sign in

For a co-host, use the email address that received their invitation.

Enter the email address you use for your Our Event Album account, then choose Send reset link.
  3. 3

    Request the reset link

Select Send reset link, then check that inbox for an email from Our Event Album.

The confirmation is deliberately generic, so requesting a reset never reveals whether an email address has an account.
  4. 4

Open the email and set a new password

Use the newest reset email, choose a new password, confirm it, and select Reset password. You will then be taken back to sign in.

The reset link opens this form. Choose and confirm a new password, then select Reset password.

Why the confirmation is deliberately vague

After you request a reset, the website says that a link has been sent if an account with that email exists. This is expected. Using the same message for every request stops anyone from using the page to find out whether a particular email address has an Our Event Album account.

If you have more than one email address, try the one you use for the host dashboard or the one that received your co-host invitation. The generic confirmation will remain the same either way.

Keep the reset email safe

The reset link is only for the account holder. Do not forward it, post a screenshot of it, or share it with a co-host. If you requested more than one reset email, open the newest one. Links expire after 60 minutes; requesting a fresh link is the quickest fix when one has expired.

Still cannot sign in?

If you have checked the right inbox and cannot find the reset email, contact support with the event name and the email address you believe is on the account. Do not send your password or a reset link. Contact support can help identify the next safe step.

Common follow-up questions

I did not receive a reset email. What should I check?
Check Spam or Junk, search your inbox for “Our Event Album”, and make sure you used the email address you normally use to sign in. The message on the reset page is generic by design, so it will not confirm whether an account exists for an address.
My reset link does not work. What now?
Request another reset email and use the newest link. Reset links expire after 60 minutes, so an older email may no longer work.
Can a co-host reset their password too?
Yes. They should use their own email address. If they have not accepted their invitation yet, ask the album owner to invite them again.
Do guests need a password to upload photos?
No. Guests use the event link or QR code and do not need an account. See how guests upload photos.
